About Us
KIRAN is committed to improve wellbeing in local communities. Since the inception in May 2018, KIRAN has been working tirelessly to
- Engage local communities through active participation
- Educate local communities about improving their social and economic lives
- Empower local communities to be more resilient
We are a non profit and secular organisation that works for local communities. During the pandemic we have noticed that COVID 19 situation have caused enormous distress and misery among local communities. In order to help people at the grassroot level and improve their wellbeing, we have included ‘Circular Living‘ as one of our projects. This concept promotes recycling, restoration and regeneration of household products to help Mankind and preserve our planet.
The objectives of the project are as follows:
- 1. The protection and preservation of the environment for the public benefit by: (for example)
- a) the promotion of waste reduction, re-use reclamation, recycling, use of recycled products and the use of surplus;
- b) advancing the education of the public about all aspects of waste generation, waste management and waste recycling.
- 2. The relief of financial hardship by the recycling and provision of furniture, clothes and other household items.
- 3. The promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.
